В МВД сообщили о резком сокращении числа автоугонов и ДТП в Москве на фоне эпидемии коронавируса

С 1 апреля по 7 мая в Москве на 25,9% снизилось количество угонов транспортных средств, на 61,8% сократилось количество ДТП и на 62,9% упало число пострадавших в дорожно-транспортных происшествиях. Об этом сообщается на сайте ГУ МВД России по Москве.

В сообщении явно не указано, с каким периодом сравниваются показатели апреля и начала мая, но, по всей видимости, речь идет о снижении количества угонов, числа ДТП и пострадавших в авариях по сравнению с аналогичным периодом прошлого года.

В свою очередь столичный департамент транспорта привел статистику ДТП за 7 мая. В этот день в столице произошло 34 аварии, тогда как 7 мая 2019 года в Москве было зафиксировано 305 ДТП. Падение этого показателя составило 89%, пишет РБК.

Напомним, на днях спецпосланник генсека ООН по безопасности дорожного движения Жан Тодт сообщил, что ограничения, введенные в большинстве стран из-за пандемии коронавируса, привели к снижению смертности на дорогах на 50-60%. При этом он признал, что смертность на дорогах не везде снизилась пропорционально сокращению общего трафика. Так, во Франции в марте 2020 года смертность на дорогах снизилась на 40%, хотя интенсивность трафика упала сильнее. Тодт объяснил это ростом числа случаев превышения скорости на опустевших дорогах.

Спецпосланник выразил надежду на сохранение сниженных показателей смертности в ДТП и после окончания пандемии. “Я хотел бы призвать правительства укрепить свои транспортные системы, чтобы сохранить цифры на нынешнем уровне, даже когда они ослабят карантинные меры”, – сказал он.

Ранее автостраховщики предупредили, что кризис, вызванный пандемией коронавируса, может привести к росту количества автоугонов. “Непростая ситуация, которая складывается в экономике, может привести к усугублению криминогенной обстановки и к росту числа угонов. Поэтому автовладельцам сегодня нужно быть особенно осторожными, следить за сохранностью машин и работоспособностью противоугонных систем. Также не стоит забывать о том, что в ситуации пандемии может возникнуть нехватка деталей для ремонта автомобилей из-за ограничения поставок, и именно погоня за запчастями может стать одной из главных причин угонов. Это значит, что под прицелом грабителей окажутся “массовые” марки”, – отмечал глава департамента страховых выплат компании “АльфаСтрахование” Александр Харагезов.
